Each table top is handcrafted to order, showcasing the natural beauty of your chosen timber. From the clean, blonde grain of American Oak to the rich character of Reclaimed Australian Messmate and the striking natural features of Victorian Ash, there's a timber to suit a wide range of interiors and styles.
Choose your timber
Our table tops are available in four timber and thickness options:
25mm American Oak – Clean, blonde tones with a refined, contemporary appearance.
30mm Reclaimed Australian Messmate – Medium feature, darker tones and distinctive natural character.
35mm American Oak – Clean, blonde tones with a more substantial, premium profile.
40mm Victorian Ash – Heavy feature with striking grain patterns, natural markings and beautiful colour variation.

A unique piece, handcrafted for you
As a natural material, every piece of timber has its own individual grain, character and colouring. Reclaimed Australian Messmate and Victorian Ash in particular can display distinctive natural features and variations that make each piece unique.
While your table top will be consistent with the style and finish shown in our images, natural variations mean no two pieces will ever be exactly alike. These differences are part of the beauty of solid timber and ensure your Bushman Dave table top is a genuinely unique, handcrafted piece.
Important Information - Table Top Support & Installation
To ensure the long-term stability and performance of your solid timber table top, we strongly recommend that it is installed on a suitable, well-supported base.
Table tops over 2000mm in length
For table tops exceeding 2000mm in length, we recommend a supporting frame or base structure that provides adequate support along the length of the top, rather than relying solely on two individual steel legs.
Table tops up to 2000mm in length
Two steel legs are generally suitable for table tops up to 2000mm in length, provided they offer sufficient support across the width of the top.
As a guide, we recommend that the steel legs provide approximately 90% coverage across the table top's width. For example, a 1000mm-wide table top should have a steel leg support spanning approximately 900mm.
Using externally sourced legs
If you are purchasing legs separately, please ensure they are designed to adequately support a solid timber table top.
To minimise the risk of bowing or movement, we recommend that the mounting structure provides secure fixing points at approximately 120mm intervals across the width of each leg support.
As solid timber naturally responds to changes in temperature and humidity, appropriate support and installation are important to maintaining the stability and longevity of your table top.

Delivery is to ground floor only.
Collection is also available from Thomastown, Victoria.

As each piece is handcrafted to order, please allow approximately 6–8 weeks for delivery.
